Accounts are available to all research staff and postgraduate research students at the University of Leeds. There are no additional costs to you or your grant to use the system

N8 HPC is building on the academic strengths and collaborative commitment of the N8 Research Partnership an established partnership of the most research-intensive universities in the North of England.


ARCHER is the next generation of UK National High Performance Computing Facility. It is a Cray XC30 system expected to provide nearly four times the scientific throughput of HECToR, its predecessor.
