Compliance and Accessibility

Back to WebServicePlan

Websites will be compliant with University visual identity and the corporate image. More information about Web and social media compliance can be found here.

We will ensure compliance with the UoL Web Regulations, and implement content which addresses issues related to accessibility.

There is a sign-off process for sites to go live. An email should be sent to the Comms team (webcomms@leeds.ac.uk) and the UoL Webmaster ( webmaster@leeds.ac.uk).

We will ensure all websites carry a tailored Privacy Notice for visitors, to include details of all Cookies used on the website and their purpose. This is in line with European “Cookie” law, and as directed by the UoL Webmaster.

We will work with other University working groups (such as Digital communications) to ensure Web elements of the Faculty IT Strategy is in step with central Web strategies. Timescales to be decided by UoL.

The School and Faculty websites will confirm to the [new] website toolkit / design elements, as part of their transition to Jadu.
