The most important monitoring file is the syslog file in the /opt/QStar/log directory.

It includes the logging of most operations and collects the output of many of the commands detailed in this guide. It also keeps track of any job that is scheduled inside the library scheduler. Any information on errors or warning conditions that may have happened can be found here.

The file is located under /opt/QStar/log/syslog.
