Out of Office Messages

In Outlook click on Tools

Click on Out of Office Assistant

Then in the dialogue box, select Send Out of Office Auto-Replies, and optionally specify a time-range.

Fill in the appropriate message, and click on OK.

To switch off auto-replies, either select Do not send Out of Office auto-replies, or if you specified a time range, they will be switched off automatically.
