Faculty Research Office

The Environment Faculty Research Office (EFRO) has been established to contribute to the Faculty’s strategic priority to grow research income and performance. The FRO works in partnership with the Pro-Dean for Research, the Heads of Schools and Research Directors of the School of Earth and Environment, the School of Geography and the Institute for Transport Studies, the Faculty Finance Office, Central Research Services, the Enterprise and Innovations Office, funding bodies and other research partners to provide high quality support services for research and knowledge exchange activities in the Faculty.

The EFRO provides support to researchers, academics and school and faculty managers around seven key areas: publicising funding opportunities; pre-award support; support during contract negotiations; post-award support; co-ordinating research business processes and activities; the provision and analysis of research management information; and research-related communications.
