Learning Technologies

The University of Leeds has a range of Learning technologies with are available to staff to use in teaching. Alongside these supported technologies there is a vast array of additional 3rd party technologies which are being used in innovative ways in education.

Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)

The VLE allows tutors to create and deliver a wide range of online module materials and tools to support your learning and teaching methods. Our VLE is based on Blackboard software.

Lecture and Personal Capture

The University has made a significant investment in tools for lecture capture, desktop capture, video and desktop conferencing and interactive sessions.
